Local Healthcare Provider Expanding in The Region.
Hammond, IN | June 6, 2017 | Midwest Express Clinic, a locally owned and operated urgent care provider, will open a new location at the Sibley Shoppes in Downtown Hammond. Midwest Express Clinic currently operates 4 urgent care facilities, including locations in Schererville and Munster. They have signed a long-term lease to occupy 2,700 square feet at the Sibley Shoppes at 31 Sibley Avenue in Hammond. The clinic is scheduled to open in late summer of 2017.
Antony Miocic, of Latitude Commercial, represented Midwest Express Clinic in the lease transaction. “Owners Milap and Sangeet Shah take a lot of pride in their business. They believe in treating all their patients with respect and serving the community. When they saw a spot available in Downtown Hammond, they saw a demographic that was underserved and in need of more medical services and they immediately took steps to fill that need. This is going to be a Class A Facility and it’s going to be larger than any of their other units.” Miocic provides commercial real estate services such as purchasing, selling, leasing, and tenant representation throughout Northwest Indiana and the South Chicago Suburbs.
