Mishawaka, IN | January 19th, 2017 | Dollar Tree will soon be taking over one of what will be many former Walgreens locations that shuttered its doors months earlier. With the agreement Dollar Tree will occupy the former 14,820 square feet building at 3425 Bremen Highway in Mishawaka, Indiana.  The free standing retail building was built in 2006 by Walgreens and was one of 76 stores that were closed in 2014. Walgreens Co. said at the time that it planned to shutter the 76 unprofitable drugstores as part of a plan to save $40 million to $50 million per year.
