Valparaiso Church Purchases 24-Acre Former Church Property in Hobart, Indiana

Hobart, IN | October 14, 2025 | The former church property located at 7983 Grand Boulevard in Hobart, Indiana, has been sold to Calvary Church of Valparaiso. The property includes an approximately 12,000-square-foot building situated on 24 acres at the highly visible northeast corner of U.S. Route 30 and Grand Boulevard, a prominent intersection in Hobart’s growing commercial corridor.

The seller was represented by Antony Miocic of Crown Point-based Latitude Commercial and Tom Hadley of Colliers International. The buyer, Calvary Church of Valparaiso, was represented by Connor Ritzi of Century 21 Alliance Group.

Calvary Church is an independent, evangelical Bible church based in Valparaiso. The church plans to utilize the Hobart property as an additional location in the future, expanding its presence and outreach in Northwest Indiana.
