Latitude Represents Buyer in $5.75 Million Acquisition

SCHERERVILLE, Ind. — November [2], 2026 — Latitude Commercial Realty, Inc. announced the sale of The Pointe Office Center, a 51,841-square-foot, three-story multi-tenant medical office building located at 5521 W. Lincoln Highway in Schererville, Indiana. The property sold for $5,750,000, or approximately $111 per square foot.

Aaron McDermott, CCIM, Co-Founder and President of Latitude Commercial Realty, represented a local buyer. The seller was represented by NAI Hiffman. The transaction closed on October 30^th.

Built in 2003, The Pointe Office Center sits on 4.06 acres along U.S. Route 30. The building was 90.5% leased at the time of sale to nine tenants across a mix of medical, healthcare, education and professional office users.

“The Pointe checked the boxes our client was looking for,” said McDermott. “At roughly $111 per square foot and a going-in cap rate over almost 10%, the buyer acquired a well-maintained, Class A building with a stable tenant base at a price well below replacement cost. That combination of basis and yield is hard to find in Lake County office today.”
